Education & Training Core Process...

The need to better refine the TVET education system with due regards to quality and demand of the Industry and market without compromising the effective development that can be achieved when people are properly trained in their fields to do their jobs entails designing proper curricula, upgrading of the existing occupational standards in conjunction with all stakeholders namely, Trainers, Experts, Donors and the Industry.

The Education and Training Core Process is established with the objective of 1. carrying out Labor market Assessment to know what the market wants and 2. identify the Occupational Standards in specific industries and base on the identified Occupational Standard 3. Develop Curriculum which will be used in training trainees so that they are able to meet the demand of the industry that had being assessed.

Technology Transfer...

Ato Telahun: Vice HeadThe past year as witness the adaptation of many identified technology which are recreated by trainers and trainees in various Technical and Vocational Institutions and Colleges in Amhara National Regional State. These technologies which include Oil extracting machine, Harvesters, Surface water pumping machines, Solar water heaters and so on. It is hoped that in the nearest future, some technologies will become commercially viable and improved upon. The Technology Transfer Process of the TVET Bureau have helped to register some of the models and also many of the inventions and innovations were presented at various exhibitions; winning different prizes.
