Quality Assurance & Accreditation...

The Federal Government of Ethiopia Proclamation No. 391/2004 on Technical Vocational Education and Training Proclamation made explicit provision for the establishment of TVET within the whole country.

Aside from this Proclamation, there are both Federal Accreditation procedures and Regional Accreditation procedures that are published for individual and organisations wishing to set-up Technical & Vocational Education Training Institutes and Colleges.

The accreditation at the regional level is carried out by the Quality Assurance and Inspection teams within the Amhara TVET Promotion Agency. Yearly the Accredited Institutions and programs and trades offered are published on the Amhara TVET website.

The Process further to the above also provide the following Service for the ANRS TVET Bureau: Standards for the Institutions, Training Guidelines, Supervision Checklists and also publish the lists of Prospecting institutions.
